Did you know that the original GoroKongu suit used in King Kong Escapes had poles in the arms? The suit actor would hold on to the poles and move the arms with them. This was done to give the suit more of an ape feel.

Later on in the 70s, the GoroKongu appeared in Go! Greenman. By this time the poles had been removed, so, the actor's arms were now too short for the suit. Throughout the whole episode we saw Kong's arms flailing around like one of those inflatable dancing men.
