I know that MechaGodzila is said to be on Godzilla 3, but i really want more of destoroyah, he is such a good monster, but very unlikly to appear on this Godzilla saga for begin to unrealistic
MechaGodzilla isn't confirmed yet, but if Mothra, Rodan, and Ghidorah are confirmed for Godzilla 2 it's extremely obvious that MechaGodzilla will be in 3. I could see them finding a way to put Destoroyah into the new series. I don't know how they would approach his Oxygen Destroyer-based powers or his ability to combine and split apart into smaller Destoroyah organisms. Well if Shinomura can do it, Destoroyah can.
Really? I never seen Ultraman for ages, so i kinda don't get it...
The only thing that inspired me from Nazca Lines is Earthbound Immortal.
The whole thing sounds like something from Ultraman! Ancient ruins, the preservation message, ancient civilization with high technology, you could practically take it out of an episode of Tiga or Max...
I'll check it that later (btw, the Mining Company i talked about is real deal)
Still, I stand my point: "Try to make KG not literally extraterrestrial but still can be related to it" While that example just something pop out of my mind.
Otherwise, Gareth would pattern Shusuke kaneko's way, made new origin for KG (Doesn't mean KG would be guardian monster nor Godzilla 2 would be GMK-esqued).
Based on every reply I read here, there is a lot of concern regarding King Ghidorah's origin in the movie.
I most certainly believe that King Ghidorah as an extraterrestrial is very possible. There's always a reason as to why Toho changed his origin which always end with them trying to make him a space monster again, even though it ends up being failed concept.
The origin change in Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah was made because Kazuki Omori, the film's director, didn't want King Ghidorah to be a space monster again, the movie was originally supposed to be based off its novelization where the Dorats were genetically engineered from DNA recovered from the corpse of another King Ghidorah found on Venus, suggesting that King Ghidorah is originally an alien creature like in the Showa series, but the one created by the Futurians is simply a clone of him. In 1992, Toho planned to produce a direct sequel to the film where Godzilla was to battle another King Ghidorah from outer space called The Return of King Ghidorah, but opted to produce Godzilla vs. Mothra instead.
The origin change in Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack was made because King Ghidorah was not originally planned to be in the movie, it was originally supposed to be Varan, but he got scrapped and replaced with King Ghidorah to increase the marquee value. 3 years afterwards, King Ghidorah was to be featured in Godzilla: Final Wars but was replaced with Monster X and Keizer Ghidorah.
Based on why Toho changed King Ghidorah's origin, they were actually more forced than they are chosen options because a director wanted to replace his original origin for... I don't know what reason in one movie, and King Ghidorah was meant for another monster in another, and that's why Toho originally wanted to make The Return of King Ghidorah and put King Ghidorah in Godzilla: Final Wars, Toho regretted changing his origin. (NOTE: If anyone is interested to know what I'd do if I were Toho making these movies then I'd be more than happy to explain)
To anyone that might say it's unrealistic for what reason I have no interest in knowing, Legendary's goal for their Godzilla films is not really realism, it's grounded believably, as in "What would happen if these creatures actually existed?". If realism was what they were going for, then Godzilla (2014) would never have existed. Also, Mothra's in this movie, she is known for having a divine, mystical element behind her character, and that's no more realistic than King Ghidorah being an extraterrestrial. It's really worth mentioning because Mothra's origin hasn't really changed that much like King Ghidorah's origin, only one time, and she was also meant for another monster.
I also know that Toho is very strict with how other companies use their monsters since Legendary Pictures is only putting Toho's monsters in the movie. If Toho will not allow Mothra to be a villain, and not allow Godzilla and King Ghidorah to team up against a common enemy that threatens them both, then it should be no problem making Legendary Pictures give King Ghidorah an extraterrestrial origin.
This is MOOOOST likely going to be a GTTHM remake, because of the monsters.
