In Rebirth of Mothra III, the RaishuReinbouMosu's name comes from (平成?), Rebirth of Mothra III's Japanese title, specifically the word raishū (来襲?), meaning attacks, Reinbo, which is Rainbow in Japanese English, and Mosu, from Mothra's Japanese name.
Rather than reusing the DesuMosuImago design from the previous films, a new design was made for Rebirth of Mothra III. This design has a less bulky build than the DesuMosuImago design, the legs are slimmer than that of both the DesuMosuImago and HeiseiMosuImago designs, the antennae face backwards instead of forward like the previous design, the wings are made up of different materials than the previous design and have less colors to them, and the eyes are blue instead of green.
- Despite being a Rainbow Mothra puppet design, the RaishuReinbouMosu design looks more like a blue version of Mothra Leo.
