Meltdown Godzilla is the version of Godzilla featured in the 1995 Daikaiju film Godzilla vs. Destoroyah. It is the most powerful incarnation of the King of Monsters to date, though his power isn't sustainable as it has a deleterious effect on his health. In the movie, it is feared that Godzilla will either explode in a nuclear blast or become so hot that he'll melt through the Earth's crust. Godzilla's overload of power in this state eventually kills him, although the JSDF manages to use cryonic weapons to contain the heat he puts off in his death throws.

- In the Wii game Godzilla Unleashed, Godzilla 90's Critical Mass form is Meltdown Godzilla.
- The Meltdown Godzilla suit is really the same suit from the previous film Godzilla vs Spacegodzilla, only repainted.
- Meltdown Godzilla is commonly reffered to as Burning Godzilla.
