Jacksford "Jack" Chapman is a character created by Legendary Pictures who made his first appearance within the 2017 MonsterVerse film Kong: Skull Island. Template:TOC

History

Kong: Skull Island

Chapman is an Army Major and acts as Preston Packard's right hand man during the expedition to Skull Island. During the expedition, he piloted a Sea Stallion helicopter that was brought down when Kong attacked the team's chopper squadron. Chapman himself was stranded in the western side of Skull Island as the only survivor of his crew. While waiting for the arrival of Packard's team, he managed to fend off a Spore Mantis and only to be eaten by a Skullcrawler. The Skullcrawler then vomited Chapman's undigested remains at the boneyard and Chapman retrieved his dog tags. Packard then found the letters that Chapman wrote to his son and instructed his men to get them to his family.
