The HeiseiMosuImago (平成モス成虫,   HeiseiMosuSeichū?) is the Mothra Imago puppet design used in the 1992 and 1994 Godzilla films, Godzilla vs. Mothra and Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla, as well as in the video for the 1994 ride attraction, Monster Planet of Godzilla.

Name

In Godzilla vs. Mothra, the HeiseiMosuImago's name comes from Heisei (平成?), Mosu, from Mothra's Japanese name, Mosura (モスラ?), and Imago, from the fact that it is a design for Mothra's imago form.

In Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla, the MogeMosuImago's name comes from Moge, which comes from another kaiju's name, M.O.G.U.E.R.A. (モゲラ,   Mogera?), Mosu from Mothra's Japanese name, Mosura (モスラ?), and Imago, from the fact that it is a design for Mothra's imago form.

Detail

This Mothra imago puppet is mainly derived from the GojiMosuImago, with some differences. Mothra's body is now much more compact and rounded. Her fur is a brighter color, with most of the brown areas now colored orange. The eyes are slightly smaller and a much brighter blue color, while the antennae are shorter and thicker. This Mothra prop's legs are made to appear shorter and more bird-like. This prop is also called the MogeMosuImago (モゲモス成虫,   MogeMosuSeichū?) in Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla.
