Golza

Golza is an Ultra monster that first appeared in Ultraman Tiga episode 1 and is the first Heisei monster created by Tsuburaya. Golza later appeared in episode 18 as Fire Golza, briefly appeared in Ultraman Tiga: Final Odyssey, and made his appearence as Hyper Golza in Ultraman Dyna episode 43. Golza and Fire Golza appeared as two different creatures in Ultra Galaxy Monster Battle. In all three incarnations he can absorb heat and beam attacks, burrow, and could launch a heat beam from his forehead although this was altered to fire balls in Ultra Galaxy.

Ultraman Tiga

Episode 1

Golza first appeared as GUTS picked up strange vibration disturbances. The monster Melba also appeared at the same time. The two monsters meet up in Japan to destroy a temple where Daigo turns into Ultraman Tiga for the first time. Tiga attakcs Golza in Power Mode, but quickly reverts to Sky Mode and destroys Melba while Golza escapes underground.

Episode 18

Golza reappears as Fire Golza when GUTS finds him in an active volcano that is about to erupt. Fire Glza is lured out and is soon met by Tiga. Fire Golza was not only highly resistant to Tiga's melee attacks but could als absorb his weaker beams. Tiga didn't give up and after Fire Golza as paralyzed from the assault Tiga dropped him into the volcano.

Ultraman Tiga: Final Odyssey

Golza makes a brief cameo in the film Ultraman Tiga: Final Odyssey.

Ultraman Dyna

Golza returns as Hyper Golza in Ultraman Dyna episode 43.

Ultra Galaxy Monster Battle

Golza appears in his original incarnation in episode 2 of Ultra Galaxy. At the end of the episode he is assisted by Telesdon, who escaped Red King in the first episode, and they fight Gomora only to lose. In episode 5 Golza returns as Fire Golza. This incarnation not only only is he Kate's first monster, but possesses strength that allowed him to easily defeated the X8 Sadoras. Fire Golza fights a long battle with Gomora and is soon defeated. Fire Golza is finished off by Kate's second monster, Gan Q.
