"Pulgasari," a North Korean version of "Godzilla," is shown in this scene from the 1985 movie "Pulgasari," depicting the monster-hero who protects farmers against soldiers by eating cannons and weapons. In its first theater release in the world, "Pulgasari" will make a debut at a Tokyo theater on July 4 to compete with its American and Japanese monster rivals. South Korean movie director Shin Sang-ok made the film while he was held in the Communist North to make movies for Kim Jong Il, known as a movie enthusiast. (AP Photo/Raging Thunder)
