Black Shark (黒鮫号 Kuro Same-gō?) is a supersubmarine created by Toho which first appeared in the 1969 Toho film, Latitude Zero.

The Black Shark was piloted by Captain Kroiga, an evil servant of Dr. Malik. It was first seen attacking Alpha on its way back to Latitude Zero. The Black Shark met its demise after Malik transplanted Kroiga's brain into a lion. Wanting to get revenge on Malik for taking away her human body, Kroiga, now the monster Griffon, attacked the Black Shark. Griffon managed to knock off the ship's laser turret, which discharged into a mountainside; this attack promptly caused an avalanche, burying both the monster and the ship.
