S.H. MonsterArts - 2018 releases

This is the list for S.H. MonsterArts figures released in 2018.

Mechagodzilla (1974)

The first figure of the 2018 MonsterArts line is the 1974 incarnation of Mechagodzilla, from the film, Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla.

The figure contains a laser effect that's chest mounted, two hand mold variations with loaded and unloaded finger missiles respectively, and a stand for the beam effect.

This figure was website exclusive, and launched in January 2018 for Japanese buyers, and in February for North American buyers. It was retail at $94.99.

SpaceGodzilla and Little Godzilla Special Color Version

The second figure set of the 2018 MonsterArts line is a Special Color Version of SpaceGodzilla and Little Godzilla, from the film, Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla.

The figure set doesn't feature much in terms of accessories, only coming with two gravity tornadoes which attach to SpaceGodzilla's shoulders, and are molded in a translucent green hue.

The set of figures will retail for approximately $130 USD, and is set to release in February 2018. There is no current confirmed U.S. release date.

Godzilla (2002)

The 2002 incarnation of Godzilla was the third figure to launch in 2018, with a release date of April for Japan, and no North American release date announced. The figure costs an estimated $82.99.

Godzilla (2016) - Kou Kyou Kyoku version

A Kou Kyou Kyoku incarnation of the MonsterArts Shin Godzilla was revealed in late 2017.

Godzilla (2016) - Frozen version

A second new mold of the 2016 Godzilla was announced in February 2018, for a July release. The figure is molded and painted to emulate the final seconds of Shin Godzilla, where Godzilla's frozen, and his fifth form is stuck in the process of emerging from his tail.

MFS-3 Type 3 Kiryu Mechagodzilla (2002) [Shinigawa Final Battle Ver.]

In March 2018, a Kiryu figure was announced for release in August 2018 for Japan, and September 2018 in North America. The figure comes with an extensive amount of accessories, including an absolute zero effect, alternate eyepieces, and battle damaged pieces to replicate the mech's status at the end of Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla, among other things.

Godzilla Earth

A retooled version of the 2017 Godzilla figure was announced on May 16, 2018, for an October release. The figure comes with a Landing ship prop that scales in at 55m long, and a miniature Godzilla Filius figure that's 25mm tall.

Godzilla (1962)

A figure of the 1962 Godzilla was revealed during S.D.C.C. 2018, and is slated for launch in December 2018 in Japan and January 2019 in North America. The figure comes with a heat ray effect.

Gamera (1999)

A 1999 Gamera figure was announced midway through 2018 with a release date set for the fourth quarter. The figure comes with countless accessories, including additional tail, arm, and waist pieces.
