Name
Dorat's name comes from the "dora" in "King Ghidorah."
Origins
The Dorats were genetically engineered to be the perfect pets in the 23rd century.
History
Heisei Series
Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah
The Dorats were three genetically engineered pets brought from the future by the Futurians. They were kept on the Futurians' ship, MOTHER and its sister ship, KIDS, first being seen when Emmy takes the humans onboard. They were taken back in time to before the hydrogen bomb that mutated the Godzillasaurus hit the islands near Lagos Island. They were released into the wild, while the Futurians went back to the present. The Dorats stayed on Lagos Island until 1954, where the hydrogen bomb mutated them into King Ghidorah.
