In Rebirth of Mothra, the DesuMosuImago's name comes from from another kaiju's name, Desghidorah (デスギドラ?), Mosu, from DesugidoraMothra's Japanese name, Mosura (モスラ?), and Imago, from the fact that it is a design for Mothra Leo's Imago form.
In Rebirth of Mothra II, the DagaMosuImago's name comes from from another kaiju's name, Dagahra (ダガーラ?), Mosu, from DagāraMothra's Japanese name, Mosura (モスラ?), and Imago, from the fact that it is a design for Mothra Leo's Imago form.
The detail on the DesuMosuImago design is done very similarly to the HeiseiMosuImago design, but with very distinguishing differences, the shape of the wings, the patterns inside the wings and the abdomen look very different from past Mothra Imago designs. The head on the DesuMosuImago design has green eyes, three beads on the forehead and the antennae resemble that of a male moth, indicating that the new Mothra imago is a male.
When Mothra Leo transformed into Rainbow Mothra in Rebirth of Mothra II, a new prop was created that was identical to the DesuMosuImago in every way except its color scheme. Leo's wings were changed in color from green and orange to all of the colors of the rainbow. This prop is known as the ShodaiReinbouMosu (初代レインボーモス?). ShodaiReinbōMosu
