This is the list of the characters in "Little Shop of Horrors":

Contents

Audrey II/Audrey Junior

Main article: Audrey II

Audrey II is the main villain of the series, and the "Horror" of "Little Shop of Horrors". He's designed differently in four different ways: in the 1960 film, he doesn't have any plans of world conquest and was a chemical creation in science by Seymour, in the 1982 musical, he had plans of world conquest, succeeded, and came from another planet in space, in the 1986 film, he has plans of world conquest, grew offspring, and failed to take over the world, & in the 1991 Childrens' TV show, "Little Shop", he is not evil, didn't eat humans (except the piano teacher) and had eye-addition.

Audrey II in the 1960 film is a Venus Flytrap-butterwort cross-bred plant, in the 1982 musical and 1986 film, he is a Mean Green-Mother From Outer Space with large green vines and uses his mouth to talk, and in the 1991 TV Series, he is a friendly plant who was dormant since Prehistoric Earth. Also, he resembles a pterosaur and plant together. What's also different is that he changes his violent ways, in the 1991 TV  Series, he would help Seymour such as making Audrey fall in love with him, while in the 1986 film, he would say really bad things and even try to kill Seymour, like the phrase "Tough titty kid!".

In the 1986 film, there is a new smiling Audrey II pod, who could be a sign that the alien plants are spreading across the Earth without using a total eclipse of the sun in progress to teleport through.

He was called Audrey Junior in the 1960 film and Childrens' TV Series.

Seymour Krelborn

Seymour Krelborn is the main protagonist of the series, and one of the four characters to appear in all four versions of Little Shop of Horrors. In the 1960 film, he is a scientist who accidentally created Audrey-II and wasn't a nerdish florist. He also was hypnotized by Audrey II to feed him, and after the police label him as a murderer-criminal, Seymour blames the plant for ruining his life and uses a knife to kill him but he ends up being eaten by the plant. In the 1982 musical, he is an orphan under care of Mr. Mushnik, and was more *evil* than he is in the 1986 film. In the 1986 film, Seymour was now again a character who is an orphan under care of Mr. Mushnik and bought Audrey-II from a Chinese shopowner. Seymour then refuses to kill people when his pet plant demands him to, and successfully destroyed the evil plant from taking over the world by using electrical wires.

In the TV show, Little Shop, he is a teenager who still is in love with Audrey Fulquard. In the TV show, he knows about the audience, because he tells us, "Should I tell him (Mr. Mushnik) it was really Audrey Jr. who did it?".

Audrey Fulquard is the main female character of each "Little Shop of Horrors" version. Her last name was only revealed in the 1960 film, and was played by Jackie Joseph (yes, Jackie's a female), She plays a larger role in the 1982 musical and 1986 film. In those two, she revealed that she has a crush on Seymour, starting the songs, "Suddenly Seymour", and "Somewhere That's Green". She was nearly eaten by Audrey II, but Seymour rescued her, & she watched Seymour fight Audrey II with weapons while the plant, overconfident that Seymour can't kill him, singing Mean Green Mother From Outer Space. She then hugged and married Seymour happily and lived happily ever after in a house when Seymour killed the plant with electrical wires.  In the 1986 film, she was portrayed by Ellen Greene.

In the TV show, Little Shop, she is now an Asian-American and a teenager, but wasn't in love with Seymour. Also, in the TV show, she is less positive and looks much more different than her 1986 film version. She is also the daughter of Mr. Mushnik in the TV Series, which means Mushnik married.

Mushnik in Little Shop
Godzilla101Added by Godzilla101

Mr. Mushnik was originally called Mr. Mushnick in the 1960 film, but the "c" was removed in the other versions of Little Shop of Horrors. In the original film, he is a shopowner who runs the shop that Audrey II lives in, which is the "Little Shop of Horrors". His first name was only revealed in the first film, and was only called Mr. Mushnik only by his last name the others.

In the 1982 musical and 1986 film, he is grumpy and penny-pinching, and adopted Seymour when he was an orphan, gave him crust of bread and a job, treats him like dirt, and calls him a slob (line from "Skid Row (Downtown)". When Audrey II became an instant attraction at his shop, Mr. Mushnik earned a large fortune of money and was really excited that his job business has boosted. Later, he saw Seymour chop up Orin Scrivello (he also had no idea Seymour had never killed Orin), and instead of calling the police, he decided to very midly procrastinate until the next day. Soon, he forces Seymour to admit it to the police with a gun as his threat, but Mushnik decided not to since Seymour is a son figure to him. Audrey II ate him and swallowed him whole when he was looking at the plant.

However, he did return in the 1991 TV Series, and he was the only character who was unchanged. In the pilot episode, Mushnik breaks the Fourth Wall.

It is unknown if Audrey II knows Mushnik's name, although Audrey Jr. does.

In the 1960 film, he was played by Mel Welles, and in the 1986 film, he was played by Vincent Gardenia.

Recurring Characters

Dentist!
Orin Scrivello, DDS
Godzilla101Added by Godzilla101

Orin Scrivello, DDS is a character who only did not appear in the 1960 film. He is a dangerous, abusive dentist, and uses painful dentistry on patients. His mother told him to be a dentist. (See Dentist!). Crystal, Ronette, and Chiffon are his dental nurses. He also has a Secretary, who he enjoys to punch and harm (somewhat, she doesn't complain about it). He made a child suffer jaw-injury when he forced him to wear braces and made him unspeakable. His last patient in his life was Arthur Denton, and he decided to huff nitro-oxide, but when his mask malfunctioned, he died. Seymour was about to kill him with a gun to feed Audrey II and because he abused Audrey. Orin's last words were, "What did I ever do to you?", Seymour answered what he did to her, and Orin asked, "Who?", but remembered it was Audrey. "Oh,", and he quickly became dead after he died of asphyxiation. Seymour chopped up his body and fed him to Audrey II.

He was renamed Paine Driller and reappears in the TV Series, Little Shop. He also seems to be three times Seymour's size and is more fat. Paine Driller is a bully. His braces mirror the character's career he was based on, Orin Scrivello who was a dentist. He also is a Pizza-Delivery Boy as in the pilot episode, Bad Seed.

In the TV Series, he has a crush on Audrey and respects her, which is the opposite of the 1986 film, where he even slapped Audrey in the face, and called her, "Stupid woman, what a fraggin' scatterbrain!", and forced her to call him "Doctor" and never talk when he talks.

Crystal, Ronette, Chiffon

Crystal, Ronette, and Chiffon are three Chorus Girls who are actually female truants who are not looked for by their parents. It's unknown if they are sisters. Crystal is an African-American who is the taller one. Ronette is a chubby African-American who is the shorest Chorus Girl (Ronette also could be similar to "Eleanor" from the Alvin and the Chipmunks' female counterpart: The Chippettes"), and Chiffon is the only girl who is not African-American, and is the tallest Chorus Girl. The only detail known of their lives were that they stopped going to school after Fifth Grade.

Their songs were Skid Row (Downtown), The Meek Shall Inherit It, Don't Feed the Plants (original ending only), Prologue: Little Shop of Horrors, Da Doo, and Suppertime. They communicated with Mushnik, Audrey, and Orin but not Seymour (who is the protagonist) in the 1986 film and musical.

The three Chorus Girls became flowers in the TV Series, Little Shop.

Wilbour Force/Arthur Denton

Wilbour Force/ Arthur Denton are masochistic dental patients who are same characters with different names. He has a bigger role in the 1960 film, and had returned back in the 1986 film. In the 1986 film, he makes a cameo as the last dental patient Orin Scrivello, DDS ever had in his life, and was annoying to Orin. Also, he didn't feel any pain of Orin's near-death-experience dentistry. Orin kicked him out when he became annoyed enough with him.

Arthur Denton was portrayed by Bill Murray in the 1986 film. He does not return in the TV Series, Little Shop, for unknown reasons.

Winifred Krelboyne/Krelborn

Winifred Krelboyne is Seymour Krelborn's hypochandric mother. She did exist though in each version. Winifred played a large role in the movie, and was rather elderly and normal. She was horrified after seeing the faces of every person Audrey Jr. ate. When Seymour killed Audrey Jr., he was eaten, and a flower revealed his face. Winifred was horrified, and Seymour whined, "I didn't mean it" before the flower showing his face droops over. This was in the 1960 film.

Seymour's Mom returned back in "Little Shop", but her head is not seen. This did not fit continuity because Seymour sang a line in the song "Skid Row (Downtown)" where he sang Oh, I started life as an orphan, even though Seymour is already 13 in the show, which means his mom should have deceased. In the TV Series, she is still hypochandric, like she was in the 1960 film. One example is that she told Seymour, "Don't share your lunch with others, you could get their germs". She seems to try to exercise since we can see she is a little overweight.

Characters Only In 1960 Film

Policemen

There are policemen who chase after Seymour for the deaths of the people who Audrey Jr. ate. They chased him out of the Shop, but lost his track when he hid in a alley full of tunnels and toilets. They didn't wear police uniform though.

Dr. Phoebeus Farb

Dr. Farb is a dentist in the 1960 film. When Seymour was sent to him to have several of his teeth removed, Seymour accidentally killed him with a sharp tool, and Seymour fed him to Audrey Jr. He was replaced by Orin Scrivello, DDS in the 1982 musical and 1986 film.

A Disney Channel Original series called "Phineas and Ferb" had characters Phineas and Ferb as the protagonists. Their names probably were plagarized from the, "The Little Shop of Horrors" character Dr. Phoebeus Farb.

Characters Only in 1986 Film

Wink Wilkinson

Wink Wilkinson is a radio talk-show DJ who works on WSKID who enjoys putting up "weird stuff" in his show, "Wink Wilkinson's Weird World". He interviews with Seymour with his plant. Wink is also a weird man just like his show. Wink is one of the characters who does not return in the show "Little Shop".

Patrick Martin

A Licenscing Marketing Salesman who wants to make big fortune with Seymour and sell Audrey II pods across America, not knowing that this means that the evil plant wants to spread across America and devour the citizens of America. Seymour, realizing this, refused to let Patrick Martin confirm the contract and Seymour realizes that Audrey II had this plan all along and wanted world conquest. Patrick Martin ran off when Seymour yelled at him to go away. He is played by James Pooley in the original ending, but Pooley still got credit. Patrick Martin did not return in the show "Little Shop".

The First Customer

The First Customer is a Skid Row citizen who was the first one to see Audrey II out the window, and Seymour explained to him where he got the plant, and he was interested in the roses because Audrey II became an attraction, and bought "Twice as many" roses for $100, giving Mushnik financial fortune. His name is never known. He is played by Christopher Guest.
